AAP Deno

AAP Deno knows what he wants and goes after it; whether that’s starting his own label About A Profit, or spending hundreds of hours spinning his soulful raps in his studio he built himself.

A native of Arlington, TX, AAP Deno infuses his experience growing up and chasing his dreams. Once a viral hit on WorldStar HipHop, AAP Deno is here to stay because listeners are able to feel the emotion he puts in his songs and connect his experiences to their own lives. Influenced as much by Sam Cooke and Smokey Robinson as he is by Yo Gotti and other modern rappers, AAP Deno creates a metamorphosis of his past and his present into his music.

What does your work aim to say?

Put out emotion. I had a lot of negativity in my life, lost all my money. Circumstances don't matter, you can lose it all, but you have to make sacrifices for the things you want. I'm motivated by other people - if somebody says something about their pain or story, make a song. I'm not big into flashy rap because everybody can get that. I'm all about "show me, don't tell me."

What do you want your legacy to look like?

I want to be remembered for changing youth and inspiring them. It's really hard and stressful when you don’t have somebody to help you, but I want to be the person that helps as many people as I can.

What does BVE mean to you?

Not a label, but a family. Here, you'll be successful no matter what, because family comes first, then business. We are having fun at the end of the day.
